When a new box enters the facility it’s given a unique barcode and any information on the box such as contents, description and destruction dates are entered into our computerized management system.
Each box is then stored with its location recorded on the management system for future retrieval.
We will provide you with a full report of your box details which you can use when you need to recall an item from storage. When you need something back from storage simply send us an email, fax or call us with the details of your request and our experienced staff will then go to that box and pick then relevant file from it. There is no need for you to request the entire box (however if you want the whole box that’s fine).
When we retrieve an individual file a paper copy of the request is placed in the box in place of the file and who requested it so when you are finished with the file you can rest assured that it will be returned to the exact box it came from. Our various reporting options can let you know when a file was last accessed, who accessed it and how many times it has been taken out of storage.
